The Artist Behind Nordic FaceArt
Behind Nordic FaceArt is Lilaine, a passionate face painting artist and entrepreneur based in Norway.
Originally from the Philippines, Lilaine grew up in Sweden before moving to Norway in 2010. Her journey across different cultures has shaped her artistic identity, combining a love for creativity with a deep appreciation for Nordic nature, traditions and craftsmanship.
As a mother of three and a professional working with children, Lilaine understands the joy that creativity can bring. What began as a passion for art and face painting gradually developed into a vision: to create a Nordic-inspired brand that brings together artistic expression, quality products and imagination.
Today, that vision is Nordic FaceArt.
An Award-Winning Artistic Journey
3rd Place – WBF Nordic Awards 2026 | Facepainting
In October 2026, Lilaine achieved third place in the Facepainting category at the WBF Nordic Awards in Helsinki, Finland.
Her competition piece, Beneath the Bark, was inspired by the strength and vulnerability found in nature. Drawing inspiration from the Nordic birch tree, the artwork explored the emotions hidden beneath the surface through texture, colour and intricate artistic details.
This achievement represents an important milestone in her artistic journey and reflects her dedication to continually developing her craft.
Learning, Creativity & Professional Development
Lilaine has pursued training and masterclasses in makeup, bodypainting and facepainting.
In October 2026, she attended the WBF Finland Creative Masterclass in Helsinki, featuring internationally recognised artists including Yasmin Heinz, Einat Dan, Linda Røhmen, Jasmina Walters, Tiffany Hunt and Linda Hallberg.
For Lilaine, artistic development is a lifelong journey. Every opportunity to learn brings new inspiration, techniques and perspectives.

Nordic FaceArt was created from a belief that face painting is more than applying colours to the skin. It is a form of artistic expression that can inspire imagination, build confidence and create unforgettable moments.
Inspired by the beauty of Nordic landscapes and cultural traditions, the brand offers face paints, brushes, palettes, stencils and creative accessories for beginners, families and professional artists.
Our ambition is to make creativity accessible while maintaining a strong commitment to product quality, responsible practices and clear safety information.
